People often ask me where I came up with the name “Bezalel" (pronounced Bez-a-lel). When I began discerning the idea of starting a Catholic publishing company that would specialize in great books for Catholic classrooms, I knew that the name would be a critical piece of relaying who I am and what I hope to accomplish. “Bezalel” is Hebrew and means “in the shadow of God.” It perfectly reflects my own faith walk and my goals for the company.

Wrapped Up: God’s Ten Gifts for Women is a very unique woman’s book with two very distinct voices and perspectives on the gifts of love, joy, sacramental living, suffering, forgiveness, self, priorities, letting go, sisters-in-faith, and allowing God to be God. As co-author, I cherished working with Teresa Tomeo and watching as the Holy Spirit responded to our desire to serve God with this work. While Teresa tackled each of the ten gifts in what is suitably called “Timely Truths,” I was exploring each of the same gifts in what is fittingly called “Timeless Truths.”

Together we have woven a tapestry that is really all about connecting women of today—who search for, and even long for, God in the moments of their everyday lives—to women throughout our faith’s history who have done the same thing.

The companion journal we wrote is a perfect way for women to take the timely and timeless truths from the book to a deeper level—either on an individual basis or in a group-study setting.

It is our prayer that every women who reads Wrapped Up falls in love all over again, or in a new and deeper way—or even for the very first time—with God and the gifts He so generously gives!
